Western Sea integrates Issues 109-124 in which we can see the beginning of Vraja-Vilāsa-Stava, written by Raghunātha Dās Gosvāmī (1494–1586), one of the six Gosvāmīs famous for his exemplary devotional lifestyle. This work focuses on the new theme of Kṛṣṇa’s associates.

As for Bhakti-Rasāmṛta-Sindhu, it starts here with rāgānuga-bhakti and passing through bhāva-bhakti it reaches premabhakti. Also resumed is the presentation of the Ṣaṭ-Sandarbhas by Jīva Gosvāmī (1513-1598), one of the most important Gauḍīya-Vaiṣṇava writers who produced a large number of works on the practice of bhakti. Specifically it is the preface to the sixth and last book of this masterly work, i.e., Prīti-Sandarbha. This preface was written by Śrī Haridās Śāstrī Mahārājjī (1918-2013, great scholar of Gauḍīya-Vaiṣṇavism who, coinciding with his guru’s wish, went to Benares where he studied Indian philosophy for twelve years, obtaining nine university degrees and three graduate degrees covering the six systems of Indian philosophy and theology.
