To establish His philosophy of love, Śrī Caitanya made use of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, the most sublime scripture that explains the essence of all the Vedas, being a natural commentary on the Vedānta-Sūtra.
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam establishes Kṛṣṇa as God of all gods, the primeval cause of everything. Amongst all living beings, He is the only and most suitable recipient of love because He, having all the wonderful qualities and being perfect, will never fail as such. Once love for Him is achieved, absolute happiness and knowledge, as well as eternity, are contained within.
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam also shows perfect persons who have this love for Him. They are the cowherd girls of Vraja, and they express it through supreme devotion (uttamā bhakti) towards Him – because they naturally possess this devotion:

“Uttamā bhakti, or supreme devotion, refers to all one’s activities performed for Kṛṣṇa with a favorable attitude, without the tendency to have other desires and without being covered by anything.”
Uttamā bhakti, as explained by both Śrī Caitanya (Who abolished all body-based considerations, granting everyone the full right to practice devotion
without distinction between age, sex, race or nationality) and Śrī Haridās Śāstrī Mahārājjī, is the final stage which everyone who have devoted their life to the service of Kṛṣṇa aspire to attain.
That simple, practical and comfortable manner of performing this bhakti, where the selfless service offered to Go, the scriptures, the beloved deity, etc. can be done easily and every day, can be carried out as long as the guidance of those great personalities is followed …
