Southern Sea (its fourth part) integrates Issues 90-108 of Laharī in which both the sādhana–bhakti topic from Bhakti-Rasāmṛta-Sindhu and Śrī-Kṛṣṇa-Līlā-Stava come to an end. The former was written by Rūpa Gosvāmī (1489–1564), one of the six Gosvāmīs and one of the most influential ācāryas of Gauḍīya-Vaiṣṇavism while the latter was authored by Sanātana Gosvāmī (1488–1558), brother of Rūpa Gosvāmī and also one of the six most prominent Gosvāmīs.
